Chapter One - The DreamWe walked the corridors single file, our footsteps perfectly synchronised to those of the person in front's. Like a giant, writhing chain we navigated the dark, decrepit hallways. Cobwebs sat in silence in every corner, motionless; no breeze was felt in these restricting walls. We traversed the strange passageways for what seemed like an eternity until we finally reached our destination: a large single archway that led into a small and claustrophobic classroom. Each footstep we took to sit at our wooden desks echoed throughout the barren room. Chapter Two - The VictoryOnce again I laid there motionless, too terrified to open my eyes. I felt as if I'd been hosed down with the liquid form of my fear, and as a breeze picked up through my open window sending my curtains wild, the chill seemed so much more frigid. Finally working up the courage to open my eyes, I forced them open as though they had been glued tightly shut, and turned them to gaze upon the clock on my bedside drawer. Chapter Three - The WallsI saw it looming in the distance, drawing rapidly closer, and I stared back at it in horror. How could I have been so stupid? I turned my head to stare at the giant walls as we travelled the dizzyingly curved roads towards it. Made of greying, aged but sturdy brick and adorned at the peak with spikes and barbed wire, the gigantic wall towered above us even at such a far away distance. The only break in the enormous wall that seemed to permit entry was the mammoth wrought-iron gate, which was embellished with the words "Rapere Psychiatric Hospital" in frighteningly jagged script.
